Fire Safety Tips
NEVER build a campfire in an area where it is prohibited.
FIND OUT if the area already has a fire pit or fire ring.
CHOOSE A SITE that is at least 15 feet from tents, trees, shrubs, and flammable objects
ENSURE THAT that your spot is protected from wind gusts.
CHOSE A LOCATION far from heavy fuels including brush, logs, and decaying leaves.
BEWARE of low hanging trees and branches.
